The 32.8 ft (10 m) DC charging cable that lets you put the Anker SOLIX Smart Generator 5500 where it actually belongs. A 3 m cable ships in the box with the generator, which is fine when the two units sit side by side and far too short the moment you want the generator in a shed, around a corner, or simply further from a bedroom window.

It carries 400 V DC from the generator straight into the E10 through purpose-built quick-connect ports. Anker is specific that only its own 3 m or 10 m DC charging cable should be used on the generator DC output port, so this is a replacement for improvising with an extension, not an optional upgrade.

• 32.8 ft of reach: Ten metres between the generator and the E10, versus the three metres the generator ships with.
• DC, not AC: Charging the E10 over DC skips a conversion stage, which is why Anker routes generator charging this way rather than through the AC input.
