How does power sharing work? The two chargers communicate and split the available current on a shared circuit. If both cars charge at once, each gets a balanced share. If only one is plugged in, it can draw more. This lets you run two chargers without doubling your electrical service.
Will it work with my cars? Both units use J1772 connectors, so they work with all non-Tesla EVs and plug-in hybrids. Tesla owners can use J1772-to-NACS adapters, or choose a NACS bundle.
What install does it need? Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician, configured for power sharing across both units. Your panel capacity determines the combined charging speed.
Are they weatherproof? Yes. Both have NEMA 4 enclosures rated for indoor or outdoor use, with temperature sensors and built-in GFCI breakers.
