Velit V3 with Ventilation - 12V/48V Rooftop Air Conditioner

The Velit V3 with Ventilation is a rooftop air conditioner that combines cooling and fresh-air ventilation into a single unit, eliminating the need for a separate roof vent fan. Unlike traditional rooftop AC systems that only recirculate cabin air, the V3 operates in either internal circulation A/C mode or a dedicated exhaust fan (vent) mode, moving up to 350 CFM (590 m³/h) of fresh air to help clear heat buildup, odors, and humidity. The system installs through a single 14" x 14" (35.6 cm x 35.6 cm) roof opening, simplifying installation and reducing the number of potential leak points compared to running separate AC and vent fan units.

The V3 is available in 12V and 48V configurations. The 12V version delivers 10,000 BTU of cooling, while the 48V version steps up to 12,000 BTU, giving larger battery banks more cooling power for the same footprint. Both versions share the same dual brushless fan design and enlarged condenser, which Velit states improves airflow, circulation, and quiet operation compared to earlier single-fan models. Noise levels are rated at 55 dB in ECO mode and 65 dB in Boost mode.


Designed to fit camper vans up to 22 feet (6.7 m) and RVs alike, the V3 ships as a complete kit with the AC unit, mounting brackets, sealing gasket, mounting hardware, interior trim panel, remote, and a 15 ft wiring harness with an in-line fuse (12 AWG on the 48V harness). A separate sealant purchase is required for van installs or other uneven roof surfaces; it is not needed for flat-roof RV installations. The unit carries a one-year limited warranty.
