35L / 45L / 55L · Cools to −4°F · Up to 43 Hours on Battery
EcoFlow GLACIER Classic Portable Fridge Freezer
The GLACIER Classic is a proper compressor fridge-freezer rather than a cooler: it holds a set temperature anywhere from −20°C to 20°C (−4°F to 68°F) to within about a degree, so you can freeze meat and ice cream on a week-long trip instead of managing a bag of melting ice.
It's 40% more compact than EcoFlow's previous generation, runs under 38.5dB, and with the optional plug-in battery it goes up to 43 hours unplugged. Refrigeration costs roughly 165Wh per day and freezing about 520Wh, which matters if you're running it off a power station. Three sizes, and the 45L and 55L add a dual temperature zone so you can run fridge and freezer at once. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized EcoFlow dealer.

Why the GLACIER Classic
Freezes to −4°F
A real compressor holding any setpoint from −20°C to 20°C to within about 1°C — ice cream and frozen meat, not just chilled drinks.
Dual Zone on 45L and 55L
The larger sizes divide into two independently set compartments with up to a 22°C difference — fridge one side, freezer the other.
Up to 43 Hours Unplugged
With the optional plug-in battery it runs for days without a power source — and swapping to mains or car power is instant.
Modest Power Draw
About 165Wh a day refrigerating and 520Wh freezing, so a mid-size power station can run it for days.
Under 38.5dB
Quiet enough to sleep next to in a van or tent, which is not true of most compressor coolers.
40% More Compact
Significantly smaller than the previous generation for the same usable volume, with IPX4 splash resistance and R600a refrigerant.

The important difference is the temperature zones, not the litres. The 35L is a single-zone unit you switch between fridge and freezer — it cannot do both at once. The 45L and 55L include a temperature zone divider and run two independently set compartments, with up to a 22°C (39.6°F) difference between sides. If you want cold drinks and frozen food on the same trip, you need the 45L or 55L regardless of how much space you think you need. Note also that all three share the same 27.8" length — the sizes grow in height and width, which is worth measuring against your vehicle.

Why Choose It
GLACIER Classic Only
The fridge with its AC adapter, car charging cable, and basket
You'll always have mains or vehicle power, or you already own a power station to run it from
+ Plug-in Battery
The GLACIER plug-in battery
Up to 39–43 hours off-grid, and the fridge keeps running while you drive, shop, or move camp
+ Plug-in Battery + 60W Solar Panel
Battery plus a 60W solar panel
Indefinite off-grid operation in sunny conditions — the panel roughly offsets a day of refrigeration
A realistic note on the 60W solar bundle: refrigerating uses about 165Wh a day, and 60W of panel in good sun produces roughly that. So it works well for keeping food chilled indefinitely, but it will not keep up with freezing, which needs around 520Wh a day. If you're planning to run the freezer off-grid for a long stretch, you'll want more solar or a power station in the mix — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll size it properly.

Temperature zone divider (45L and 55L only)
The plug-in battery and 60W solar panel are included only with the bundle configurations that name them. The 35L does not include a zone divider, as it's a single-zone unit.

Two corrections against our previous listing, both verified against EcoFlow. The 35L was shown as "Variable Dual Temperature," but EcoFlow specifies it as a single-zone unit switchable between fridge and freezer modes — which is consistent with the zone divider shipping only with the 45L and 55L. And battery runtime was listed as 39 hours for all three sizes; EcoFlow rates the 35L at 43 hours, since it has less volume to cool. We've also added the warranty term, which our listing didn't state: 2 years.
No. The 35L is a single-zone unit you switch between fridge and freezer mode — it can't do both at the same time, and no zone divider is included. Only the 45L and 55L have the dual-zone design. If running a fridge and a freezer simultaneously matters to you, choose one of the larger sizes even if 35L of space would otherwise be enough.
Which size should I buy?
Decide on zones first, then volume. If you need fridge and freezer at once, you're choosing between the 45L (72 cans) and 55L (90 cans). If a single switchable zone is fine, the 35L (58 cans) saves money and weight. All three are the same 27.8 inches long, growing in height and width instead — so measure your boot, van, or truck bed against the size you're considering.
How much power does it use?
About 165Wh per day refrigerating at 4°C, and about 520Wh per day freezing at −18°C, tested in Eco mode at 25°C ambient. Practically, a 1024Wh power station like a DELTA 3 will run it as a fridge for around six days, or as a freezer for about two.
Will the 60W solar panel keep it running indefinitely?
As a fridge, in good sun, roughly yes — 60W over a decent solar day produces something close to the 165Wh a day refrigeration needs. As a freezer, no: 520Wh a day is well beyond what a 60W panel delivers, so you'd need more solar or a power station topping it up. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll size it against how you actually plan to use it.
Do I need the plug-in battery?
Only if you want it running while disconnected from mains or a vehicle. Without the battery it works perfectly from an AC adapter, a 12V/24V car socket, or a power station. The battery is what lets it keep cooling for 39 to 43 hours while you're driving, shopping, or moving camp — which for most people is the difference between a fridge that's genuinely portable and one that's tethered.
Can I leave it in the car in summer?
It operates up to 122°F ambient, which covers most parked-car situations, though the compressor will work harder and use more power the hotter it gets. Storage tolerance goes to 140°F. As with any appliance, direct sun on a closed car in high summer is worth avoiding.
Is it waterproof?
It's rated IPX4, meaning it resists splashing water from any direction. That covers rain at a campsite or a hose-down, but it isn't sealed against immersion or heavy jets, so don't submerge it or leave it standing in water.
How quiet is it really?
Under 38.5dB, which is around the level of a quiet room. That's notably quieter than most compressor fridges of this type and is why it works in a van or tent rather than needing to be kept outside.
What refrigerant does it use?
R600a (isobutane), which is standard for modern portable refrigeration — it has a very low global warming potential compared with older refrigerants and is efficient in small compressor systems.
