This is the storage half of the DELTA Pro Ultra system. Each battery holds 6,144Wh of LFP cells at 102.4V, and up to five stack onto a single inverter for 30kWh — or 90kWh across a full three-inverter system. That is genuinely whole-home territory, for days rather than hours.

Can I use this battery on its own?
No. It has no inverter and no AC outlets — it is the storage module for a DELTA Pro Ultra inverter, which is what converts that stored energy into household power. If you're starting from scratch you need at least one inverter and one battery. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll spec it with you.
How many batteries can I connect?
Up to five per inverter, giving 30kWh. A full DELTA Pro Ultra system runs three inverters with five batteries each, for 90kWh and 21.6kW of output. Most homes land somewhere between two and five batteries on a single inverter.
How long will one battery run my home?
6,144Wh divided by your draw. Essentials — fridge, lights, internet, phone charging, at maybe 300W average — comes to around 20 hours. Add central air conditioning or electric heat and it drops sharply. The honest answer depends on your house, so call us with your panel schedule and we'll work through it properly.
Can I add batteries later, or do I need them all at once?
You can add them later. Each battery ships with its connection cable and the system is plug-and-play — it recognises the added capacity without reconfiguration. Buying two now and three next year is a completely reasonable plan.
Where can I install these?
They're IP54 rated and specified from −4°F to 113°F, so a garage, basement, utility room or sheltered exterior location all work. They aren't rated for direct exposure to rain or snow. At 111.8 lbs each, plan the location before you order — moving them afterwards is a two-person job.
How long will the batteries last?
EcoFlow rates them to retain 80% or more of their state of health after 3,500 full cycles at 0.5C and 77°F. For a typical home backup duty cycle, where the batteries are not being fully cycled every day, that translates into a very long service life.
Is the chemistry safe for indoor installation?
LFP is the most thermally stable of the widely used lithium chemistries, and this pack adds seven distinct protection layers on top — over-voltage, overload, over-temperature, short circuit, low-temperature, low-voltage and over-current. These are routinely installed inside homes. Follow the manual's clearance guidance and keep them dry.
What's the difference between this and the DELTA Pro Ultra X battery?
The Ultra X is the newer generation of the system, with its own inverter and its own battery. The two generations aren't interchangeable, so buy the battery that matches the inverter you own. If you're unsure which you have, call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll identify it from the model label.
Do these need a licensed electrician?
The batteries themselves are plug-and-play into the inverter and don't need an electrician. Tying the inverter into your home's electrical panel — through a Smart Home Panel or a transfer switch — does need a licensed electrician, and in most jurisdictions a permit.
