Anker SOLIX PS100 Bifacial Portable Solar Panel
Bifacial panels generate from both faces, picking up light reflected off the ground, snow, sand or a light-coloured surface behind the panel as well as what hits the front. On a portable panel set up on gravel or on a bright deck that rear-side gain is real, and it is why Anker's bifacial line reaches above 25 percent effective efficiency against 23 percent on the standard panels.
This is the entry point of the range. A 100 W panel is a top-up rather than a recharge: it will hold phones, lights and a small power station steady, but it will not refill a kilowatt-hour pack in a day. For that, look at the PS200 or PS400.
-
Generates from both faces: Rear-side production from reflected light, which is genuinely useful on snow, sand, gravel or a pale surface and worth little on dark grass.
-
Above 25 percent effective efficiency: Anker rates its bifacial panels higher than the 23 percent of the standard line, because of the rear-side contribution.
-
IP68 on the bifacial line: A step above the IP67 of the standard portable panels, which matters for a panel that lives outside whenever it is working.
-
Know what 100 W does: Phone charging, lighting, holding a small power station level. Not refilling a large pack. Buy the size that matches the job.

Specifications
Bifacial gain depends entirely on what is behind and beneath the panel. Snow, sand, gravel and pale concrete give a real rear-side contribution; dark grass or asphalt give very little. Portable panels are for temporary setup rather than permanent roof mounting.
