SunGoldPower 415W Mono Black PERC Solar Panel (SG415WM)

415W per panel at 21.3% module efficiency, sold in the quantity you actually need rather than a full pallet. 21.3% efficiency in an all-black module — the combination most homeowners want for a roof that faces the street, without the price premium of a premium-brand panel.

Monocrystalline 182 × 91mm, 108 half-cells (6 × 18) behind 3.2mm tempered glass, in an anodized aluminium frame rated for a 1500V DC system voltage. Twelve years on materials and workmanship, with 80% of rated output guaranteed at 25 years. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized SunGoldPower dealer — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll check string sizing against your inverter's MPPT window before you order.

Why the SunGoldPower 415W Panel

415W at 21.3% Efficiency

21.3% module efficiency — more watts from the same roof area than a 20% panel.

All-Black Aesthetics

Black frame and black backsheet, which is what most homeowners want on a visible roof.

IP68 Junction Box

3.2mm tempered glass with an IP68-sealed junction box and a low temperature coefficient.

UL 61730 and CEC Listed

Certified for permitted grid-tied installation, with a 1500V system voltage rating.

80% Output at 25 Years

Twelve years on materials and workmanship, plus a stepped performance guarantee.

−0.35%/°C Temperature Coefficient

A low coefficient means it loses less output as the roof heats up in summer.

What's Included

SunGoldPower 415W Mono Black PERC Solar Panel (SG415WM) detail

What You Get

  • SunGoldPower 415W solar panels (SG415WM) in the quantity you select
  • Pre-attached 4mm², 300mm each leads with MC4 compatible connectors
  • Datasheet and warranty documentation

Mounting hardware, racking, cabling beyond the panel leads, combiners and fusing are separate purchases. A full pallet is 32 panels and works out cheaper per watt if you need that many — we list that separately. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll price the whole array.

SunGoldPower 415W Mono Black PERC Solar Panel (SG415WM): Frequently Asked Questions

How many 415W panels do I need?
Work backwards from your daily energy use and your inverter's limits. As a rough guide, one 415W panel produces somewhere around 1.7kWh on a good day in a sunny climate and considerably less in winter or under cloud. Your inverter's maximum PV input and MPPT voltage window then cap how many you can string together. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your inverter model and your usage and we'll size it properly with you.
How do I work out how many panels go in a string?
Divide your inverter's maximum PV input voltage by the panel's open circuit voltage, then subtract one for cold-weather margin — Voc rises as temperature falls, and a string sized at the limit on a mild day can exceed the inverter's ceiling on a freezing morning. These panels are 38.32V Voc with a −0.27%/°C temperature coefficient. We do this calculation for customers all the time, so call us rather than guessing.
Will the panels actually produce their rated wattage?
Rarely, and that's normal for every panel from every manufacturer. Rated power is measured at Standard Test Conditions — 1000W/m² irradiance at a 25°C cell temperature — which is brighter and cooler than a real roof on a summer afternoon. Expect 75 to 85 percent of nameplate in good conditions once the panels warm up. Size your array on that basis rather than on nameplate and you won't be disappointed.
What certifications do these carry?
UL 61730, CEC Listed, TUV, IEC, CE, CB, ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001. The one that usually matters for a permitted grid-tied installation in the US is the UL listing and CEC listing, because inspectors and utilities ask for them. If your jurisdiction has specific requirements, tell us and we'll confirm before you order.
What does the warranty actually cover?
Two separate things. The product warranty — 12 years materials and workmanship — covers defects in materials and workmanship. The performance warranty — 95% at 5 years; 90% at 10 years; 80% at 25 years — guarantees the panel still produces a stated percentage of its original output at given years. Performance warranties are the more meaningful of the two over a panel's life, since panels rarely fail outright but all of them degrade.
Can I mix these with panels I already own?
On the same string, no — you should not mix panels of different wattage or electrical characteristics in series, because the string performs to the weakest module and you lose more than you'd expect. On separate MPPT inputs, or as a separate string on the same inverter, mixing is usually fine. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and describe what you have and we'll tell you what works.
What mounting hardware do I need?
That depends on whether you're going on a roof, a ground mount or a pole. These panels are 67.80" × 44.65" × 1.38" (1722 × 1134 × 35mm) and 48.06 lbs each, which is what your racking has to be rated for. We stock SunGoldPower's modular ground mount brackets for two panels, and we can advise on roof racking. Wind and snow loading matter a great deal here — it's worth a conversation rather than a guess.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find these panels cheaper at another authorized dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
