The SPH inverters are off-grid and backup units — they take grid power in but never export. This is a genuine grid-interactive hybrid with UL 1741 SB grid-support certification, CEC listing and HECO SRD 2.0 approval, so it can be interconnected with a utility. It also has three MPPTs against the SPH's two, and a NEMA 3R enclosure rated to −25°C.
Why does it parallel to nine units when everything else stops at six?
It's a different platform. Nine units at 7600W each gives you 68.4kW, which reaches into light commercial. For most homes one unit is plenty; the parallel headroom matters if you're designing something that will grow, because you're not designing against the hardware's limit.
How much solar can I connect?
12,000W across three MPPT trackers, each capable of up to 600V input, within a 70–540V operating window. The first tracker takes 30A and the other two 22A each. Three independent trackers means three roof faces without one shading loss dragging down the others.
Should I buy this or the 11.4kW SGN-11K15PRO?
Output and passthrough. The 11.4kW gives you 3800W more continuous output, 15kW of solar rather than 12kW, and a 200A whole-home passthrough. This gives you nine-unit parallel capability, a fuller certification set including CEC listing and HECO approval, and a lower price. If your simultaneous load fits inside 7600W, this is the better value.
What is smart load, and what is AC coupling?
Smart load lets you nominate a circuit the inverter powers only when there's surplus solar — a water heater or a pool pump, for instance. AC coupling lets you connect an existing grid-tied solar array on the AC side, so you can add battery backup to a house that already has solar without rewiring the array.
Which batteries work with it?
Lithium-ion or lead-acid, with CAN for closed-loop BMS communication. SunGoldPower's SG48100P and SG48200T support that directly, which is why we offer the four-battery bundle. At 210A of charging you want a bank rated for it.
Can I mount it outdoors?
Yes — NEMA 3R and rated from −25°C to 60°C. At 88 lbs and 31.5 inches tall it's a two-person wall mount, and the wall needs to carry it properly.
What is the actual warranty?

Do I need a licensed electrician and a utility interconnection agreement?
Yes to both, in almost all cases. A grid-interactive hybrid inverter connects to your service and can interact with the utility, which means permitted and inspected work plus an interconnection application.
