On its own, the Classic powers whatever you plug into its outlets, switching over within 10 ms. To back up your home, add the Smart Home Panel 10 in its 120V version (sold separately), which covers up to 10 selected circuits and switches over in 20 ms or less. Wiring the panel needs a licensed electrician.
What can the 4,000W output run?
It delivers 4,000W continuous at 120V, 60Hz, with three NEMA 5-20R outlets, one NEMA TT-30R, a 60W USB-C port and an 18W USB-A port. It has no 240V output, so it isn't designed for central air conditioning, well pumps or electric dryers. Call (303) 876-7654 and we'll check your loads, or point you to the 7,200W TITAN 5000.

Can I add more batteries?
Yes. Each unit has 5kWh (5,017.6Wh) of LFP battery, and you can expand to 30kWh by adding up to five EcoFlow TITAN Battery 5kWh units. Added batteries increase energy and runtime but not output. Connection cables are sold separately.
How much solar can I connect?
The single MPPT input accepts up to 3,200W at 30–250V and 16A. AC input is up to 4,000W, so you can also charge from the grid or a generator.
How does it compare to the TITAN 5000 and Plus?
The Classic is 4,000W at 120V only, with 3,200W of solar and a lighter 102.5 lb cabinet. The TITAN 5000 steps up to 7,200W of 120/240V output and 4,000W of solar, and the Plus adds a second solar input for 8,000W total.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Not to use it on its own. Plug loads into its outlets and set it up from the Quick Start Guide. Wiring it to your home through the Smart Home Panel 10 needs a licensed electrician, plus permits and inspection where your local code requires them. Panel upgrades, breakers and permits can add cost. Call (303) 876-7654 if you want help planning it.
Can I install it outdoors?
No. The unit is rated IP20 and is meant for a dry, ventilated indoor location such as a home or garage. Operating temperature is 14 to 113°F (−10 to 45°C) when discharging and 32 to 113°F (0 to 45°C) when charging, at altitudes below 9,842 ft (3,000 m).
How long is the warranty?
EcoFlow lists 5 years on the main unit, the expansion battery and the Smart Home Panel 10.
