How does whole-home backup work with this system?
On its own, the Plus powers whatever you plug into its outlets, switching over within 10 ms. To back up your home, add the Smart Home Panel 10 (sold separately), which covers up to 10 selected circuits and switches over in under 20 ms. Wiring the panel needs a licensed electrician.
What can the output run?
It delivers 7,200W continuous at 120/240V split-phase, 60Hz, and up to 10,000W when paired with solar. EcoFlow also lists X-Boost 2.0 for up to 5kW per 120V leg in a supported configuration. Outlets are two NEMA 5-20R and one NEMA L14-50R, with no USB ports. EcoFlow's own test started a 3-ton central air conditioner alongside about 1kW of essential loads. What's in the box?

Can I add more batteries?
Yes. Each unit has 5kWh (5,017.6Wh) of LFP battery, and you can expand to 30kWh by adding up to five EcoFlow TITAN Battery 5kWh units. Added batteries increase energy and runtime but not output. Connection cables are sold separately.
How much solar can I connect?
Two MPPT inputs each accept up to 4,000W at 40–450V and 16A, for 8,000W total. AC input is up to 7,660W, or 10,000W with solar. With the Smart Home Panel 10 and CT sensor, it can also AC-couple with existing rooftop solar or a home battery. Grid-tied solar shuts down during an outage.
How does it compare to the TITAN 5000 and Classic?
The Plus has the same 7,200W of 120/240V output as the TITAN 5000 but doubles the solar to two inputs, 8,000W total, and reaches 10,000W of output with solar. The Classic is a 4,000W 120V unit.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Not to use it on its own. Plug loads into its outlets and set it up from the Quick Start Guide. Wiring it to your home through the Smart Home Panel 10 needs a licensed electrician, plus permits and inspection where your local code requires them. Panel upgrades, breakers and permits can add cost. Call (303) 876-7654 if you want help planning it.
Can I install it outdoors?
No. The unit is rated IP20 and is meant for a dry, ventilated indoor location such as a home or garage. Operating temperature is 14 to 113°F (−10 to 45°C) when discharging and 32 to 113°F (0 to 45°C) when charging, at altitudes below 9,842 ft (3,000 m).
How long is the warranty?
EcoFlow lists 5 years on the main unit, the expansion battery and the Smart Home Panel 10.
