60,000W of three-phase output at 277/480V, with 90kVA of ten-second surge and up to 78kW of solar across four 1000V MPPTs. This is Sol-Ark's largest single unit and its commercial flagship: the inverter you specify when a building's service is 480V and the project needs solar, storage, grid interaction and generator support behaving as one coordinated system.
It supports both 4-wire Wye (277/480V) and 3-wire Delta (480V) configurations, runs a high-voltage battery architecture up to 700V, and parallels up to ten units for 600kW. 180A continuous grid passthrough, 15ms adjustable transfer, 97.5% peak efficiency, IP65 / NEMA 3R. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized Sol-Ark dealer — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll get documentation to your design engineer.

Why the Sol-Ark 60K-3P
60kW Continuous, 90kVA Surge
Three-phase output sized for a commercial building, with real surge headroom for motor loads.
Wye or Delta
277/480V 4-wire Wye or 480V 3-wire Delta — it matches the service you already have.
78kW Solar, 1000V MPPTs
Four trackers with a 150–850V operating window, so long high-voltage strings work as intended.
Up to 700V Battery Architecture
Two high-voltage battery inputs keep conductor sizes and losses manageable at 60kW.
Parallel to 600kW
Ten units on one platform, so the same equipment and the same support carry the site as it grows.
UL 1741-2021, IEEE 1547-2018
Current interconnection certification, IP65 / NEMA 3R enclosure, 10-year warranty.

It's decided by your building's service voltage first, not by your load. The 30K-3P is a 120/208V machine; the 60K-3P is 277/480V. If your service is 480V, the 60K is the unit regardless of whether you need all 60kW. If it's 208V, the 30K is. Beyond that, size on load and parallel units as needed.
What is the difference between Wye and Delta here?
277/480V 4-wire Wye gives you a neutral, which most commercial buildings in North America have and which is needed for 277V lighting circuits. 480V 3-wire Delta has no neutral and is more common in industrial settings. The 60K supports both, so it adapts to the service rather than the other way round.
Why do the MPPTs go to 1000V?
Higher string voltage means longer strings, fewer combiner runs and less copper for a given array size — which matters a great deal on a commercial roof or a ground mount. The 150–850V operating window with a 1000V ceiling is what lets you design efficient strings at that scale.
Which batteries does it use?
Sol-Ark's L3 series in the 480V configuration, which runs at 614.4V nominal. We stock the 60kWh indoor IP20 bank and the 60kWh outdoor IP55 bank matched to this inverter. Both are LFP with UL 9540 certification.
What is the practical ceiling if I parallel units?
Ten units, so 600kW of inverter capacity. At that point you're into utility-scale territory and the design work matters far more than the hardware selection — we'd want to be talking to your engineer early rather than late.
Does it support demand-charge management?
Yes. Peak shaving from battery during high-demand periods is one of the main commercial justifications for a hybrid inverter at this scale, alongside time-of-use arbitrage and backup. The economics depend entirely on your utility's rate structure, which is worth modelling before you commit.
Who installs a system like this?
A licensed electrical contractor with commercial three-phase experience, working to a stamped design. This is service-entrance equipment interconnecting with a utility, so it needs a permit, an inspection and usually a utility interconnection agreement. We can supply the equipment and the documentation your engineer will need — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll get the datasheets over to them.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes — IP65 / NEMA 3R, rated from −40°C to 60°C with derating above 45°C. At 176 lbs per unit, mounting structure matters, particularly for multi-unit installations.
What is the transfer time in practice?
15ms, adjustable. Adequate for the great majority of commercial loads. Where a site has sensitive process control or IT equipment, the usual approach is a dedicated online UPS in front of those specific loads rather than trying to make the whole building's transfer instantaneous.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this cheaper at another authorized dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
