Why the 36V 100Ah
3.84kWh at 36V
Double the 36V 50Ah, in one case — a full day of hard running rather than a careful one.
120A Continuous, 200A for 60s
A full minute of peak rather than a few seconds, which is what fighting wind and current actually demands.
IP67 Sealed
Dust-tight and rated for immersion to one metre for thirty minutes — the marine specification.
Internal Heating
Charges down to −4°F, so cold mornings do not cost you a day on the water.
75 lbs Instead of Three Batteries
One case replaces three lead-acid batteries and saves well over 50 lbs in the bow.
Bluetooth Monitoring
State of charge, voltage and alarms in the Epoch app on iOS and Android.
What's Included
What You Get
1 × Epoch 36V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery
Documentation and warranty paperwork
A 36V lithium charger and cables are separate — Epoch's 36V 15A charger is the natural match. This battery cannot be wired in series; expansion is by parallel connection only, up to four batteries for 400Ah. At 75 lbs, plan for a lifting strap and a properly secured mount.

Buy this one if you fish long days, run a large trolling motor, fight wind and current regularly, or simply don't want to think about range. Buy the 50Ah if you fish shorter sessions, mostly on spot-lock and low speed, or if weight and compartment space are tight — it's 35 lbs against 75. The honest test is whether you currently run your lead-acid batteries down.
How long will it run a 36V trolling motor?
3.84kWh against a motor averaging 25A at 36V is around four hours of continuous running at that draw — and since real fishing is mostly low-throttle and spot-lock, that translates to a full day for most anglers. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your motor model and typical use and we'll be more specific.
Why is the 200A peak rated for a full minute?
Because that's what a trolling motor actually needs. A three-second peak rating is fine for an engine start, but holding position against a stiff crosswind means sustained high current for far longer than that. A sixty-second peak rating is a meaningfully more useful specification for this application.
Can I wire two in series for 72V?
No — series connection is not supported on this battery. You can put up to four in parallel for 400Ah at 36V. If you need 72V, call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll point you at the right product.
Will it fit my bow compartment?
It's 20 by 10.25 by 11 inches, which is larger than a Group 31 — measure carefully before ordering. Remember you're replacing three batteries with one, so total space usually improves even though this single case is big. Height with cables attached is the dimension that catches people out.
At 75 lbs, how do I get it into the boat?
A lifting strap makes a real difference and we stock them. It's a two-person lift into a bow compartment for most people, and it needs to be properly secured once it's there — an unsecured 75 lb battery is dangerous in a boat that's running in chop.
What does IP67 give me over IP65?
IP67 survives thirty minutes submerged in a metre of water; IP65 resists jets but not submersion. Bow compartments take on water more often than owners like to admit, so on a trolling motor battery the IP67 rating is worth having.
Why lithium iron phosphate rather than lead-acid?
You can use nearly all of the rated capacity rather than half, so a 100Ah LFP battery does the work of a 200Ah lead-acid one. It weighs roughly a third as much for the same usable energy. And it lasts thousands of cycles instead of a few hundred, so the cost per useful cycle is dramatically lower despite the higher purchase price.
Do I need a lithium-specific charger?
Yes. A lead-acid charger's absorption and float voltages are wrong for LFP — it will either leave the battery short of full or hold it at a voltage that shortens its life. Any charger with a LiFePO4 profile works, and we stock Epoch's own matched chargers in 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this battery cheaper at another authorized dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
