What terrain can this board actually handle?
The all-terrain pneumatic tires are built for dirt roads, gravel, grass, and compact sand, as well as rough or cracked pavement. It is not built for deep loose sand, mud, or large rocks. For mixed urban and light off-road use it handles most surfaces you will encounter.
What is the real-world range off-road?
Evolve rates it at up to 50 km (31 mi). Off-road riding, hills, heavier riders, and Fast mode all reduce that. Expect a realistic 25 to 40 km in mixed off-road use, with the full 50 km achievable on smoother surfaces in Eco mode.
Carbon all-terrain or bamboo all-terrain, which should I pick?
Carbon is stiffer and more responsive with less flex, which many riders prefer for control at speed. Bamboo gives a softer, springier ride that absorbs more vibration. If you want a planted, direct feel, go carbon. If you want comfort on rough ground, look at the Diablo Bamboo All Terrain.
Can I run street wheels on it too?
This is sold as an all-terrain setup. If you want a single board that switches between street and off-road wheels, the Diablo Carbon 2-in-1 includes both wheel sets and is the better choice for that.
Is it suitable for a first-time rider?
It is a high-performance board, so start in Safe or Eco mode and always wear a helmet and pads. Off-road riding adds difficulty over street riding, so get comfortable on smooth ground first before hitting trails.
