It adds capacity only, not output: the AC rating stays at 2,400 W continuous and 4,000 W peak, because the inverter lives in the power station rather than the battery. What changes is how long you can run at that rating. Anker measures it as a dual-door fridge going from about 32 hours to about 64.

The same LFP chemistry as the host unit, rated at 4,000 cycles to 80 percent capacity, and it stacks under the C2000 Gen 2 with a battery-to-host cable. Worth checking before you order: this pairs with the C2000 Gen 2 specifically. The C1000 Gen 2 does not support expansion at all, which is the trade Anker made to keep that model smaller and lighter.
