3584Wh · 4000W at 240V · NEMA 14-50R · Expandable to 43kWh · UL 9540
Jackery HomePower 3600 Pro Max Portable Power Station (3584Wh, 240V)
This is the one that produces real 240V. A NEMA 14-50R outlet rated at 4000W means it can drive a well pump, an EV charger, an electric range or a central air handler directly — no second unit, no hub, no workaround. Alongside it are two 120V NEMA 5-20R outlets at 2000W each, and 8000W of surge headroom for whatever spikes on startup.
3584Wh of EV-grade LFP expands to 21.5kWh with five Battery Pack 3600 units, or 43kWh with two stations in parallel — at which point you're at 4000W on 120V and 8000W on 240V. There's a built-in automatic transfer switch with sub-10ms switchover, UL 9540 certification, 5VA-grade fireproofing and an emergency power-off button. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized Jackery dealer — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll spec it against your panel.

Why the HomePower 3600 Pro Max
True 240V at 4000W
A NEMA 14-50R outlet that runs a well pump, an EV charger or an electric range from a single unit.
3.6kWh to 43kWh
Five Battery Pack 3600 units take one station to 21.5kWh; two stations in parallel reach 43kWh.
Built-In Automatic Transfer Switch
Sub-10ms switchover with the transfer hardware inside the unit rather than as a separate box.
UL 9540 Certified
Certified as an energy storage system, with 5VA-grade fireproofing and an emergency power-off button.
1.3-Hour Fast Charge
With the optional 40A cable. 2.5 hours from a standard outlet, 1.5 hours from a 240V generator.
1200W of Solar
A 36.4–50.4V DC input at up to 126A — roughly 4.3 hours to full from a 1200W array.
What's Included
In the Box
1 × Jackery HomePower 3600 Pro Max power station
1 × AC charging cable
1 × Solar charging cable
User manual and warranty card
Plus a 500W solar panel or a Battery Pack 3600, depending on the option you select
The 40A fast-charging cable that enables the 1.3-hour recharge is an optional accessory. Wiring the unit into your home's circuits — through a manual, automatic or smart transfer switch — is service-entrance work that needs a licensed electrician and usually a permit. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll list out everything your installation needs.
Which Configuration Should You Choose?
The station itself is the same in all three. The decision is whether you're adding a way to recharge it or a way to make it last longer.
Option
What You Get
Best For
HomePower 3600 Pro Max Only
3584Wh station with AC and solar charging cables
Backup where grid power returns within a day, or where you already own solar
+ 1 × 500W Solar Panel
The same station with a 500W foldable panel
Recovering energy each day during a long outage, or off-grid use where there is no outlet at all
+ Extra Battery (Battery Pack 3600)
The station plus a 3584Wh expansion battery — 7,168Wh total
Doubling runtime for multi-day outages or whole-home backup, with room for three more packs after that
Solar and extra batteries solve different problems: a battery extends how long you can run, solar removes your dependence on the grid entirely. If you're preparing for storms, the battery usually matters more; if you're off-grid, solar does. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll help you weigh it up.

Jackery HomePower 3600 Pro Max Portable Power Station (3584Wh, 240V): Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really do 240V from a single unit?
Yes — there's a NEMA 14-50R outlet rated at 4000W, which is the same connector an electric range or a Level 2 EV charger uses. Most power stations in this class need two units and a coupling hub to reach 240V. This one does it on its own, which is the main reason to choose it.
What 240V appliances can it actually run?
A residential well pump, a Level 2 EV charger, an electric range, a central air handler, a compressor or a welder — within 4000W, with 8000W of surge for startup. Two stations in parallel double that to 8000W. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with the nameplate figures for what you want to run and we'll check it.
How far can I expand it?
Five Battery Pack 3600 units on a single station gives you 21.5kWh. Two stations in parallel, with ten packs between them, reach 43kWh. Each pack is another 3584Wh, and they can be added over time rather than all at once.
Do I need a transfer switch, and do I need an electrician?
The automatic transfer switch is built into the unit, which is unusual and saves a separate box. But connecting it to your home's circuits is still service-entrance work: it needs a licensed electrician and in most jurisdictions a permit. Jackery also offers manual and smart transfer switch options depending on how you want the system to behave.
How quickly does it take over when the power goes out?
Under 10 milliseconds. That's fast enough that computers, networking equipment, security systems and most household electronics simply don't register the interruption.
What does UL 9540 certification mean?
UL 9540 is the safety standard for complete energy storage systems, rather than just the battery inside one. Along with 5VA-grade fireproofing and the emergency power-off button, it's the certification that tends to matter to inspectors and insurers when a battery is installed in a home.
How fast does it charge?
About 2.5 hours from a standard wall outlet, or 1.3 hours with Jackery's optional 40A fast-charging cable. From a 1200W solar array it's roughly 4.3 hours, from a 240V gas generator 1.5 hours, and from a vehicle alternator at 600W about 7.7 hours.
How much solar can I connect?
The DC input accepts 36.4 to 50.4V at up to 126A. A 1200W array fills the unit in around 4.3 hours of good sun. We stock Jackery's SolarSaga panels and can size an array against your roof or your ground space.
How heavy is it, and where should it live?
73.85 lbs for the station and 55.1 lbs per expansion battery, so plan the location before it arrives. A garage, basement or utility room is typical. Keep it dry, give it airflow, and site it where the electrician can reach your panel without a long cable run.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
