EcoFlow DELTA 3 Ultra Plus Portable Power Station (3072Wh)
The DELTA 3 Ultra Plus is where EcoFlow's portable line starts to behave like home backup equipment. It delivers 3600W continuous with a 7200W surge and X-Boost to 4600W — enough for a dryer, a lawnmower, or an electric frying pan — and unlike smaller units it can tie into your house through either a manual transfer switch or an inlet box rather than only powering what you plug directly into it.
Its 3072Wh battery expands to 11kWh, six charging methods are supported, and dual solar-plus-generator input takes it from 0–80% in 48 minutes. The cells are automotive-grade full-tab LFP in an EV-grade CTC structure with 24/7 BMS monitoring, which EcoFlow rates for around ten years of use. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized EcoFlow dealer — call us and we'll help you work out whether this tier or a DELTA Pro is the right fit.

Why the DELTA 3 Ultra Plus
3600W, 7200W Surge
Runs high-draw appliances a smaller unit can't — a dryer, a lawnmower, an electric frying pan — with X-Boost extending to 4600W.
Connects to Your House
Two integration options — a manual transfer switch or an inlet box — so it can back up real circuits instead of only what you plug in.
3kWh to 11kWh
Expandable from 3072Wh to 11kWh with extra batteries, and pairs with an EcoFlow Smart Generator that starts and stops itself.
0–80% in 48 Minutes
Six charging methods, and dual solar-plus-generator input at up to 3960W refills it from empty to 80% in under an hour.
EV-Grade Cell Structure
Automotive-grade full-tab LFP cells in an EV-grade CTC structure with 24/7 BMS — built to shrug off condensation and transport knocks.
OASIS 3.0 Smart App
Storm Guard pre-charges ahead of severe weather, while Self-Powered and Scheduled Task modes shift usage to cut your electricity bill.

What It Adds
Why Choose It
DELTA 3 Ultra Plus Only
The power station on its own
You already own panels or a transfer switch, or you'll charge from AC and add pieces later
+ Transfer Switch (306A1, 125V 30A)
A manual transfer switch
Home backup — lets the unit feed real household circuits rather than extension cords. Needs a licensed electrician to install
+ 400W Solar Panel
One 400W portable panel
Off-grid recharging for camping and overlanding
+ 500W Solar Panel
One 500W portable panel
More solar for less money than the 400W bundle at current pricing — see the note below
+ Smart Extra Battery
One DELTA 3 Max Plus Smart Extra Battery
Multi-day outages — adds stored energy rather than recharge speed
Both solar options fit comfortably inside this unit's 1600W solar ceiling, so there's room to add panels later either way. The 500W panel gives you more capacity and a faster recharge; the 400W is smaller and lighter to move. Call us at (303) 876-7654 if you'd like a second opinion on which suits your setup.

3-year standard, extended to 5 years free on registering the unit in the EcoFlow app
Worth reading the warranty row carefully: EcoFlow advertises "5-Year Warranty," but that's a 3-year standard warranty plus a 2-year extension you have to claim by registering the unit in the EcoFlow app. Registration is free and takes a couple of minutes — just don't skip it and assume you're covered for five years.
It's three years as standard, with a further two years added free when you register the unit in the EcoFlow app. Registration is quick and worth doing on day one — the extra two years aren't automatic, and it's the kind of thing that's easy to forget until you actually need a claim.
How is this different from the DELTA 3 Max Plus?
The Ultra Plus is the bigger unit: 3072Wh instead of 2048Wh, 3600W continuous instead of 3000W, X-Boost to 4600W instead of 3800W, and 1600W of solar input instead of 1000W. It also expands to 11kWh rather than 10kWh and adds a 30A output port. If your loads fit inside 3000W and you want something lighter to carry, the Max Plus is the better buy.
Can it back up circuits in my house?
Yes, and that's a real step up from smaller portables. It supports two home integration paths — a manual transfer switch or an inlet box — so it can feed selected household circuits. Either one has to be installed by a licensed electrician; the power station itself stays portable.
What can 3600W run?
At 3600W continuous with a 7200W surge, it handles an electric dryer, a lawnmower, an electric frying pan, or a table saw, and X-Boost pushes resistive loads to 4600W. Total simultaneous draw still has to stay within the rating, so it's one large appliance at a time plus your smaller loads.
How long does 3072Wh last?
Roughly 3072Wh divided by your load. A 150W fridge cycling at about 50% duty runs a day and a half; a 1500W space heater lasts around two hours. Expanding to 11kWh takes you into multi-day territory for essential loads.
How fast can I actually recharge it?
The headline figure — 0 to 80% in 48 minutes — needs dual solar plus generator input at up to 3960W. From a standard wall outlet it's considerably slower, since AC input is limited to 100–120V at 15A. Six charging methods are supported in total, including car and alternator.
What does Storm Guard do?
Storm Guard watches weather forecasts through the EcoFlow app and tops the battery up automatically before severe weather arrives, so you're not caught at 30% when the grid goes down. It's part of the OASIS 3.0 app alongside Self-Powered and Scheduled Task modes for trimming your electricity bill.
Can I use it as a UPS for a computer or NAS?
Yes. Switchover happens in under 10 milliseconds, which keeps desktops, network gear, and NAS servers running through a grid failure without rebooting or risking a dropped write.
How long will the battery last before it degrades?
EcoFlow estimates roughly ten years of use based on internal simulation testing, using automotive-grade full-tab LFP cells in an EV-grade CTC structure with round-the-clock BMS monitoring. For most households that means the unit comfortably outlasts several rounds of the devices plugged into it.
