These kits build a rack-mounted LiFePO4 battery bank out of RUiXU's RX-LFP48100 modules — 51.2V, 100Ah, 5.12kWh each — so you can pick the capacity your system actually needs instead of over- or under-buying. Choose from 15kWh, 20kWh, 25kWh, or 30kWh, and every module arrives with its own patch cable, ground cable, and parallel 4AWG cable set.

Because the modules are the building block, the bank isn't capped at 30kWh: up to 32 units run in parallel for as much as 160kWh, with no external controller needed. Canbus and RS485 support covers most major inverter brands, and DIP address switches handle protocol selection on the module itself. Module counts and actual energy figures are calculated from the RX-LFP48100's 5.12kWh rating — RUiXU advertises these kits by rounded capacity (15kWh, 20kWh and so on) rather than stating a module count, so the real delivered energy is slightly higher than the name in every case. How many batteries come in each kit?
Each kit is built from 5.12kWh RX-LFP48100 modules: the 15kWh kit uses 3 modules (15.36kWh actual), the 20kWh kit uses 4 (20.48kWh), the 25kWh kit uses 5 (25.6kWh), and the 30kWh kit uses 6 (30.72kWh). RUiXU names the kits by rounded capacity, so you always get slightly more energy than the label suggests.
Does the kit include a rack or cabinet?
No — the kit covers the battery modules and their cables. We sell RUiXU's 6-slot and 10-slot battery cabinets and a bracket rack for the RX-LFP48100 as separate items, and any standard 19-inch server rack with enough clearance will also work. Which kit size should I choose?
As a rough guide: 15kWh suits essential-loads backup or a small off-grid cabin, 20kWh covers whole-home backup for an efficient home, 25kWh handles a home with air conditioning or electric heat, and 30kWh fits a large home, full off-grid living, or light commercial use. Can I add more capacity later?
Yes, and this is the main reason to buy a modular kit. Up to 32 RX-LFP48100 modules can run in parallel without an external controller, scaling all the way to about 160kWh — so adding capacity means adding modules rather than replacing what you already own.
What inverters do these kits work with?
Over Canbus the modules support Victron, SMA, Studer Innotec, Sofar, Sol-Ark, Solis, Goodwe, Deye, Growatt, SAJ, LuxPower, Megarevo, INVT, Sermatec, TBB, MUST, Sunsynk, and Schneider. Over RS485 they support MPP, Voltronic, RCT, and Alpha Outback. Protocol selection is done with DIP switches on the module itself.
Do these qualify for CEC or SGIP incentives?
The modules are UL1973 and IEC62619 certified with UL9540A testing completed, and RUiXU lists them for California's CEC and SGIP programs. Program eligibility also depends on your installer, equipment pairing, and application details, so confirm with your installer or program administrator before counting on a rebate.
How much does a kit weigh, and will my wall or floor take it?
Each module weighs about 103.6 lbs, so a 15kWh kit is roughly 311 lbs of battery, a 20kWh kit about 414 lbs, a 25kWh kit about 518 lbs, and a 30kWh kit about 622 lbs — before the rack. That's a real structural consideration; have your installer confirm the floor or wall can carry it.
Do I need an electrician to install this?
Yes, we recommend it. Wiring a 48V bank of this size involves high-current DC connections, proper grounding, and correct inverter communication setup — work best done by a licensed electrician familiar with your local code and inspected before commissioning.

These are rack-mount modules intended for a sheltered indoor location — a utility room, garage, basement, or equipment closet — rather than open outdoor exposure.
