The ProteusX is a 20A PWM solar charge controller with a bright blue LCD and presets for eight battery types, including lithium-ion, LiFePO4, Gel, AGM, and Flooded. A waterproof, IP65-rated case makes it suitable for camping, boat, RV, and outdoor installations.

It runs a 5-stage charge profile, shows volts, amps, amp hours, and error codes on the display, and protects against reverse polarity, reverse current at night, over-temperature, and over-voltage.

Can I use this on a 24V system?
ACOPOWER's product page describes this controller as 12V/24V auto-detecting, but its user manual lists a 12V controller with a 25V maximum solar input. A 24V system normally needs panels wired in series, which would exceed that 25V input limit. Treat it as a 12V controller unless we confirm otherwise. Call (303) 876-7654 before you wire it into a 24V bank.
How much solar can I connect?
ACOPOWER's product page lists up to 360W at 12V, while the controller's user manual lists a maximum charging power of 300W. Size your array to the lower figure, and keep the panels' open-circuit voltage under the 25V input limit. Call (303) 876-7654 and we'll check your array.
What battery types does it support?
Eight: Lithium-ion, LiFePO4, LTO, Gel, AGM, Flooded, Crystal, and Calcium. Choose the matching preset on the controller before you connect your battery.
What does 'negative ground' mean for me?
