3-in-1 Charger, Maintainer & Jump Starter · 5× Faster Than a 12V Socket

EcoFlow 500W Alternator Charger

If you've ever tried recharging a power station from a cigarette-lighter socket, you know it barely keeps up with a day's use. This turns your vehicle's alternator into a proper 500W charger — roughly 1kWh in 2.1 hours, about five times faster than the 12V outlet you'd otherwise use.

It's three devices in one: a fast charger for your power station, a maintenance charger that keeps your vehicle's starter battery healthy, and an emergency jump starter. Installation is a clean three-step job in an SUV, pickup, van, or RV, and GaN electronics with undervoltage protection mean it only draws surplus alternator power — so it won't leave you unable to start the engine. Why an Alternator Charger

1kWh in 2.1 Hours

Five times faster than a 12V accessory socket, so a normal day's driving genuinely refills your power station rather than trickling into it.

Three Devices in One

A 500W fast charger, a starter-battery maintainer, and an emergency jump starter — one box instead of three.

Won't Strand You

Undervoltage protection means it only takes surplus alternator power, so it can't flatten the battery you need to start the engine.

12V and 24V Vehicles

Accepts 11–31V input at up to 45A, covering cars, pickups, vans, RVs, and trucks — including hybrids and range-extended vehicles.

Works With Most Brands

The included XT60 cable connects to every EcoFlow power station and most third-party units, so it isn't locked to one ecosystem.

GaN Electronics

Gallium nitride design keeps it compact and cool, with reverse-polarity, overcurrent, short-circuit, and over/undervoltage protection built in.

The Three Operating Modes

Mode Direction Power What It's For
Charging Vehicle → power station 500W max (360W in 24V mode) The main job — refilling your power station from the alternator as you drive
Battery Maintenance Power station → vehicle 100W max Trickle-charging a starter battery during long periods parked up, so it doesn't go flat
Reverse Charging Power station → vehicle 500W max Recovering a dead starter battery, or jump starting the vehicle from your power station

Important on cables: the included XT60 cable handles charging mode, but reverse charging and battery maintenance with EcoFlow DELTA series power stations require the optional XT150 cable, which is sold separately. DELTA Pro owners also need a DELTA Pro to Smart Generator Adapter. If the reverse and maintenance modes are part of why you're buying this, call us at (303) 876-7654 first so we can make sure you get the right cable with it — that's the single most common mistake on this product.

EcoFlow 500W Alternator Charger: Frequently Asked Questions

Will this drain my car battery?
No. Undervoltage protection means it only draws surplus power from the alternator, and it stops before the starter battery drops to a level that would leave you unable to start the engine. That's the main safety difference between this and wiring a charger directly to the battery.
Do I need the XT150 cable?
Only for some modes. The included XT60 cable handles the main job — charging your power station from the alternator. Reverse charging and battery maintenance with EcoFlow DELTA series power stations require the optional XT150 cable, and DELTA Pro owners also need a DELTA Pro to Smart Generator Adapter. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and tell us which power station you have, and we'll make sure you order the right combination.
How much faster is it than a 12V socket?
About five times. It puts roughly 1kWh into a power station in 2.1 hours at up to 500W, where a cigarette-lighter socket is typically limited to around 100W. In practice that's the difference between a day's driving actually refilling your battery and barely offsetting what you used.
Will it work with a non-EcoFlow power station?
Yes, for charging. The XT60 connection works with all EcoFlow power stations and most third-party units. The reverse charging and battery maintenance modes are designed around EcoFlow's DELTA series, so those functions may not be available with another brand.
Can I install it myself?
EcoFlow designs it as a three-step installation, and it's within reach of anyone comfortable working on vehicle wiring. That said, it carries up to 45A and uses a 125A fuse, so cable routing, fuse placement, and secure connections genuinely matter. If you're not confident, have an auto electrician fit it — it's a short job for them.
Does it work on a 24V truck or RV?
Yes. It accepts 11–31V input, covering both 12V and 24V systems. Note that output drops to 360W in 24V mode rather than the full 500W.
Can it really jump start my vehicle?
Yes — in reverse charging mode it can deliver up to 500W back into the vehicle's electrical system to recover a dead starter battery or assist a jump start. Remember that this mode needs the XT150 cable with DELTA series power stations.
Should I get this or the 800W version?
The 800W alternator charger recharges faster and suits larger power stations or people who spend a lot of time driving between stops. This 500W unit is the better value for most vehicles and mid-size power stations. Not sure? Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your vehicle and power station and we'll tell you which one is worth it.
Can I monitor it from my phone?
Yes. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in, so it reports through the EcoFlow app alongside the rest of your gear.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and every purchase is backed by our Lowest Price Guarantee — if you find a better price elsewhere, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order.
