Rich Solar MEGA 100 FLEX 100W 12V Flexible Solar Panel: Frequently Asked Questions

How much can this panel actually flex?
Rich Solar rates it to bend up to 360°, which is enough to follow most curved RV roofs, boat decks, and van roof contours. They don't publish a specific minimum bend radius, so for a tightly curved surface, call (303) 876-7654 and we can talk through your mounting surface before you order.
What's the warranty on this panel?
Rich Solar backs it with a 1-year material and workmanship warranty. They don't publish a separate long-term power-output warranty for this model, which is common on some rigid panels but less so on flexible ones — if that matters for your project, give us a call.
Is this panel waterproof?
The junction box carries an IP68 rating and the MC4 connectors are IP67-rated, so it's built to handle rain, spray, and washdowns on a boat or RV roof.
How do I mount it?
It ships with pre-drilled mounting holes plus an adhesive backing option, so you can screw it down, adhere it directly to a curved surface, or combine both methods depending on your installation.
Is this compatible with my charge controller?
It outputs standard MC4 connectors with 12 AWG leads, compatible with most solar charge controllers rated for a 100W, 12V nominal panel. Call (303) 876-7654 if you want help matching it to your specific setup.
Does Rich Solar publish certifications for this panel?
Not on this model's product page — no ETL, CE, or similar mark is listed. If a specific certification is required for your installation, call (303) 876-7654 and we can check with Rich Solar directly.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes — we offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm, and our Lowest Price Guarantee means if you find this panel cheaper elsewhere, call (303) 876-7654 and we'll match it.
