3-in-1 Charger, Maintainer & Jump Starter · 8× Faster Than a 12V Socket
EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger
If you've ever tried recharging a power station from a cigarette-lighter socket, you know it barely keeps up with a day's use. This turns your vehicle's alternator into an 800W charger — roughly 1kWh in 1.3 hours, about eight times faster than the 12V outlet you'd otherwise use, and the fastest alternator charging EcoFlow offers.
It's three devices in one: a fast charger for your power station, a maintenance charger for your vehicle's starter battery, and a reverse charger that can recover a dead battery. It also works with 12V and 24V RV house batteries, expanding an RV's usable storage to as much as 7.2kWh when paired with a DELTA Pro and its extra battery. GaN electronics with undervoltage protection mean it only takes surplus alternator power, so it won't leave you unable to start the engine. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized EcoFlow dealer.

Why an Alternator Charger
1kWh in 1.3 Hours
Eight times faster than a 12V accessory socket — a single hour's drive puts back most of what a day's camping used.
Three Devices in One
An 800W fast charger, a starter-battery maintainer, and a reverse charger for reviving a flat battery — one box instead of three.
Won't Strand You
Undervoltage protection means it only takes surplus alternator power, so it can't flatten the battery you need to start the engine.
Expands RV House Batteries
Adapts to 12V and 24V RV house batteries, expanding usable storage to as much as 7.2kWh with a DELTA Pro and extra battery.
12V and 24V Vehicles
Accepts 11–31V input at up to 76A, covering cars, pickups, vans, RVs, and trucks.
GaN Electronics
Gallium nitride design keeps it compact and cool, with reverse-polarity, overcurrent, short-circuit, and over/undervoltage protection built in.
The Three Operating Modes
Mode
Direction
Power
What It's For
Charging
Vehicle → power station
800W max (40–60V output)
The main job — refilling your power station from the alternator as you drive, 1kWh in about 1.3 hours
Battery Maintenance
Power station → vehicle or RV battery
100W max
Trickle-charging a starter or RV house battery during long periods parked, extending its life
Reverse Charging
Power station → vehicle or RV battery
800W max
Recovering a dead starter battery, or charging an RV house battery from your power station
Important on cables — and note this differs from the 500W model. The 800W charger ships with the XT150 cable for EcoFlow DELTA series power stations, so reverse charging and battery maintenance work out of the box. An XT60 cable for third-party power stations is a separate purchase. Separately, the DELTA 3 Max Plus, DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, DELTA Pro and DELTA Pro 3 all require EcoFlow's Alternator Charger Custom Fit Output Cable (2m). Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your power station model and we'll make sure the right cable goes in the box — this is the single most common ordering mistake on alternator chargers.

This is an under-hood or in-cabin device: keep it protected from direct water and spray rather than mounting it exposed. It shares the 500W model's footprint exactly but weighs about 1.6 lbs more.
How is this different from a normal DC-DC charger?
It is a DC-DC converter, but a purpose-built one: it delivers a 40-60V output matched to power station battery packs rather than a generic 12V-to-12V conversion, adds reverse charging and battery maintenance modes, and uses GaN electronics to fit 800W into a housing an inch and a half thick. A generic converter does none of that.
Which cable do I need for my power station?
The 800W charger includes the XT150 cable, which covers EcoFlow DELTA series power stations for all three modes out of the box. If you're using a third-party power station you'll need an XT60 cable, sold separately. And the DELTA 3 Max Plus, DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, DELTA Pro and DELTA Pro 3 each need EcoFlow's Custom Fit Output Cable (2m) as well. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your model and we'll get the right cable in the box.
How much faster is it than a 12V socket?
About eight times. It puts roughly 1kWh into a power station in 1.3 hours at up to 800W, where a cigarette-lighter socket is typically limited to around 100W. In practice a single hour of driving replaces most of what a day of camping consumed.
Will it work with a non-EcoFlow power station?
Yes, but you'll need to buy an XT60 cable separately — this model ships with the XT150 cable for EcoFlow DELTA series units instead. The reverse charging and battery maintenance modes are designed around EcoFlow's own power stations, so those functions may be limited with another brand.
Can I install it myself?
EcoFlow lays it out as a step-by-step install — fuse cable to the battery, black cable to the chassis terminal, input cable through to the charger, output cable to the power station. It's within reach of anyone comfortable working on vehicle wiring, but it carries up to 76A behind a 125A fuse, so cable routing and secure connections genuinely matter. If you're not confident, an auto electrician will do it quickly.
Does it work on a 24V truck or RV?
Yes. It accepts 11–31V input, covering both 12V and 24V systems, and it's specifically designed to work with 12V and 24V RV house batteries — expanding an RV's usable storage to as much as 7.2kWh when paired with a DELTA Pro and its extra battery.
Can it charge my RV house battery?
Yes. Reverse charging mode delivers up to 800W from your power station back into a 12V or 24V RV house battery or a vehicle starter battery, and battery maintenance mode trickle-charges at 100W to extend its life while parked.
Should I get this or the 500W version?
This 800W unit charges about 60% faster — 1kWh in 1.3 hours against the 500W model's 2.1 — and it ships with the XT150 cable rather than XT60, so DELTA series owners get every mode immediately. It's the one to pick for larger power stations, RV house battery duty, or short drives between stops. If you have a mid-size power station and longer drives, the 500W saves money for the same end result. Call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll tell you honestly which is worth it.
Will it drain my starter battery?
No. Undervoltage protection means it only takes surplus alternator output and stops well before the starter battery reaches a level that would prevent you starting the engine. That protection is the main reason to use a purpose-built alternator charger rather than wiring a converter straight to the battery.
