With that out of the way: this is the compact end of EcoFlow's generator range, at 21.8kg and 2000W rated on gasoline (3000W peak with X-Boost). Its appeal is the same as the larger 4000 — it can start and stop itself as your power station needs charging — but in a package one person can move easily and at 69dB rather than 70. A standard 20lb propane tank yields roughly 20kWh and 11 hours at full load.

For outage preparedness propane is usually the better choice — roughly 20kWh per 20lb tank against 6.6kWh from a tank of gasoline, and it keeps indefinitely rather than going stale over a season. Gasoline gives you the extra 200W and is easier to find on the road. The generator runs on either, so you're not committing to one.
