ACOPOWER 10W 12V Solar Charger Kit, 5A Charge Controller with Alligator Clips: Frequently Asked Questions

What can this kit charge?
It is meant for 12V batteries that need a trickle of power: a boat or trailer battery, a tractor, a gate opener. A 10W panel makes a small current, so it keeps a battery topped up rather than recharging a drained one quickly. Call (303) 876-7654 if you are not sure it is enough for your battery.
What does the warranty cover?
ACOPOWER covers the panel for 5 years material and workmanship and 25 years power output, and covers the accessories (controller, cables, clips) for 1 year. Coverage starts from the original purchase date and requires proof of purchase.
Can I add a second panel?
Yes, ACOPOWER lists the system as expandable to a maximum of 2. Call (303) 876-7654 and we'll help you choose a compatible panel.
Can I install this myself, or do I need an electrician?
Small 12V systems are a common DIY project, but any wiring to a battery bank, inverter, or your home's electrical system should follow the manufacturer's manual and local electrical code. If you're unsure, a licensed electrician or solar installer is the safe choice — call (303) 876-7654 and we can help you figure out what your setup needs.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this product cheaper at another authorized ACOPOWER dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
