MC4 extension for getting solar panels away from the power station. Choose 3 m, 5 m or 10 m above. The reason this matters more than it sounds: the sunniest spot on a property is rarely where you want a heavy power station sitting, and the supplied cables assume the two are side by side.

MC4 is the standard connector on rigid panels and on Anker's larger portable panels, so this pairs with either. If your power station takes XT-60 rather than MC4, you will also want the Anker SOLIX MC4 to XT-60 charging cable to make the transition.

• Voltage drop is real: Longer runs lose a little power. On a low-voltage array the 10 m option costs more than on a high-voltage series string, which is one reason to series panels where the power station allows it.
