Why the Eagle 2

1.63kWh in a Compact Footprint

Sized for golf carts, motorcycles, boats, and small utility vehicles where a full 5kWh+ pack doesn't fit or isn't needed.

High Continuous and Peak Discharge

A 200A peak for several seconds covers a starter motor or hard accessory pull without tripping the BMS.

CANBus Communication, Up to 10 in Parallel

Talks to compatible chargers and monitoring systems over CANBus, and supports up to 10 units in parallel for more capacity.

12-Year Warranty

BigBattery backs the Eagle 2 with a 12-year warranty, well beyond a comparable lead-acid replacement's 2-3 years.

Lighter Than the Lead-Acid It Replaces

LiFePO4 chemistry means a meaningful weight reduction over a lead-acid battery of similar footprint — worth it on a boat or motorcycle where every pound counts.

IP67 / NEMA 6 Sealed Enclosure

Rated for temporary immersion, not just splash resistance — built to handle marine and powersports exposure.

BigBattery 48V EAGLE 2 1.63kWh LiFePO4 Battery: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Eagle 2 designed for?
BigBattery markets the 48V Eagle 2 for golf carts, utility vehicles, RVs, and camper vans — it's sized and rated for that class of use rather than whole-home backup.
How many charge cycles does this battery get?
BigBattery doesn't publish a specific cycle count for this model — its product page describes it only as "Long Cycle Life" without a number. LiFePO4 chemistry generally outlasts lead-acid by a wide margin, but we can't quote an exact figure for this SKU. Call (303) 876-7654 if an exact cycle rating matters for your application.
Does it have Bluetooth or app monitoring?
BigBattery does not publish Bluetooth, LCD, or app connectivity for this model on its product page. If that matters for your setup, call (303) 876-7654 and we can confirm before you order.
Can I connect more than one Eagle 2 together?
Yes, up to 10 units can be paralleled together over CANBus for additional capacity. Call (303) 876-7654 if you're planning a multi-battery bank and we can help you size it before you order.
What's the warranty on this battery?
BigBattery backs the Eagle 2 with a 12-year warranty.
Is it actually submersion-rated, or just splash-resistant?
It carries an IP67 / NEMA 6 rating, which covers temporary submersion, not just splash exposure — appropriate for marine and powersports use, though we wouldn't recommend leaving it submerged longer than necessary.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this product cheaper at another authorized BigBattery dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
