Epoch 24V 60Ah Pro Series LiFePO4 Battery (1.54kWh)

A compact 24V battery built for trolling motors: 60Ah at 25.6V for 1.54kWh, 80A of continuous discharge, and 30 lbs in a case measuring just over twelve inches long. For anyone running a 24V trolling motor, this replaces two lead-acid group 27s and a lot of weight in the bow.

Pro Series specification throughout — 6,000+ cycles, IP67 sealing, internal heating for sub-zero charging, CAN and RS485 with Victron readiness, and Bluetooth monitoring through the Epoch Pro app. UL1973 certified pack with UL1642 and UL9540A cells, and an 11-year warranty. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized Epoch dealer — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll check it against your motor.

Why the Pro Series 24V 60Ah

30 lbs at 24V

Replaces a pair of lead-acid batteries weighing three times as much — a real difference in a bow compartment.

80A Continuous Discharge

Comfortably drives a 24V trolling motor at full throttle, with 200A available for three seconds.

6,000+ Cycles

Pro Series cycle life, so a battery bought for this season is still working in a decade.

IP67 Sealed

Dust-tight and immersion-rated to one metre for thirty minutes — the right specification for a boat.

Internal Heating

Accepts a charge down to −4°F, so early-season and late-season trips are not a problem.

CAN, RS485 and Victron Ready

Proper communication rather than voltage guessing, plus Bluetooth through the Epoch Pro app.

What You Get

  • 1 × Epoch 24V 60Ah Pro Series LiFePO4 battery
  • Documentation and warranty paperwork

A 24V lithium charger, battery cables and mounting hardware are separate — we stock Epoch's 24V 15A charger, which is the natural match. Terminals are M8. Epoch specifies the parallel configuration for this model and asks that you confirm with them before any series wiring, so call us at (303) 876-7654 if you're planning a multi-battery bank.

Epoch 24V 60Ah Pro Series LiFePO4 Battery (1.54kWh): Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it run a 24V trolling motor?
It depends entirely on your throttle setting, which is the honest answer. 1.54kWh against a motor drawing 30A at 24V gives you roughly two hours at that draw — but most anglers spend far more time at low speed than at full throttle, and typical real-world use is a long day of fishing. If you need more, two in parallel doubles it. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your motor and fishing style and we'll work it out.
Will it fit where my lead-acid batteries are now?
At 12.25 by 6.75 by 9 inches it's smaller than a group 27, and one of these replaces the two you'd need in series for 24V. So you gain space as well as saving around 90 lbs. Measure your compartment before ordering — we're happy to check the fit with you.
Can I connect two together?
Up to sixteen in parallel, which doubles or multiplies your runtime at 24V. Series wiring is something Epoch asks you to confirm with them first for this model, so if you're thinking about 48V, call us and we'll get you a definitive answer rather than a guess.
Does the heating drain the battery over winter?
The heater only runs when the battery is being charged in cold conditions, not while it sits in storage. For winter storage, Epoch specifies 32°F to 95°F and it's kind to the cells to store the battery around half charged rather than full or empty.
How does it compare with Epoch's 36V batteries?
Different motor voltage, that's all. If your trolling motor is 24V, buy this; if it's 36V, buy the 36V 50Ah or 36V 100Ah. Running a 36V motor from a 24V battery is not an option, and vice versa.
Is 6,000 cycles realistic for fishing use?
More than realistic — it's effectively unlimited for that duty. If you fish fifty days a year and cycle the battery each time, 6,000 cycles is over a century of use. The 11-year warranty is the practical limit, not the cells.
Why lithium iron phosphate rather than lead-acid?
Three reasons that matter in practice. You can use nearly all of the rated capacity rather than half, so a 100Ah LFP battery does the work of a 200Ah lead-acid one. It weighs roughly a third as much for the same usable energy. And it lasts thousands of cycles instead of a few hundred, so the cost per cycle is dramatically lower despite the higher purchase price.
Do I need a lithium-specific charger?
Yes. A lead-acid charger's absorption and float voltages are wrong for LFP — it will either leave the battery short of full or hold it at a voltage that shortens its life. Any charger with a LiFePO4 profile works, and we stock Epoch's own matched chargers in 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V.
What does IP67 protect against on a boat?
Spray, rain, wash-down and standing water in the bow compartment — it's rated for thirty minutes submerged in a metre of water. Bow compartments take on water more often than people admit, which is why this rating is worth having on a trolling motor battery specifically.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this battery cheaper at another authorized dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
