How fast does it charge? Up to 50 miles of range per hour at the full 48A / 11.5kW. Real-world speed depends on your car's onboard charger. Current is adjustable from 6 to 48A.
What install does it need? This is the hardwired model, which must be wired to a 60A breaker by a licensed electrician to deliver the full 48A.
Will it work with my car? It uses the J1772 connector, so it works with all non-Tesla EVs and plug-in hybrids. Tesla owners can use it with a J1772-to-NACS adapter (not included), or choose an EVIQO NACS model.
Is it safe outdoors? Yes. The IP66 / NEMA 4 enclosure handles rain, snow, heat, and dust, with 10+ built-in protection systems and a quick side reset button.
Does it qualify for rebates? Its Energy Star certification helps it qualify for the federal 30% tax credit (up to $1,000, Section 30C) and many state and utility rebates. Check your local program for specifics.
