The Hybrid pairs a 750W motor (1400W peak, 75Nm torque) with an 864Wh fixed battery and a Class 2/3 switch, so it works as either a throttle-enabled commuter or a faster pedal-assist-only ride depending on local rules. HeyBike rates it up to 100 miles at the lowest assist level.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, a 100mm-travel front fork, and an 8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain round out a bike built for daily riding — and both the bike and its battery carry UL certification (UL 2849 and UL 2271).

How far will it actually go on a charge?
HeyBike's 100-mile figure is tested at the lowest pedal-assist level with a 155 lb rider. Higher assist levels or throttle-only riding will draw the 864Wh battery down faster — HeyBike doesn't publish separate range figures for those modes.
Is this a Class 2 or Class 3 e-bike?
Both — a switch toggles between the two modes, though HeyBike doesn't publish the exact speed cap for each class separately on its site. Check your local e-bike regulations before riding on trails or bike paths that restrict by class.
Can I remove the battery to charge it indoors?
No, the battery is fixed rather than removable — you'll charge the whole bike in place with the included 54.6V/3A charger.
Is it safe? Any certifications?
