How is the A7 Pro different from the A7? The Pro uses a torque-sensing mid-drive motor and a 9-speed drivetrain for a more natural, efficient ride, where the standard A7 uses a hub motor. The Pro is the premium commuter of the two.
What's the real-world range? Himiway rates 30 to 50 miles. Independent testers have gone well beyond that at low assist, while high assist, hills, and heavy loads reduce it.
Is it comfortable for city riding? Yes. Full suspension, wide Schwalbe tires, and an adjustable cockpit give a smooth, upright ride designed for commuting comfort.
Can it carry cargo? Yes. The MIK-compatible rear rack accepts panniers, baskets, and other accessories, and the rack has an integrated tail and brake light.
How fast does it go? Up to 28 mph with pedal assist depending on class setting. It fits riders 5'3" to 6'1".
