Is the C5 a real motorcycle? No. It's a moto-style e-bike with pedals and pedal assist, so it's classed and ridden as an e-bike while giving you dirt-bike looks and a throttle-focused ride.
What's the real-world range? Himiway rates 60 to 80 miles, but on heavy throttle use independent testers saw closer to 30 miles. Pedal assist and the optional second battery extend it significantly.
How fast does it go? 20 mph as shipped, unlockable to around 25 mph. The 750W motor peaks over 1000W for strong hill climbing.
Is it comfortable to pedal? The C5 is built for throttle riding with a long fixed seat, so pedaling is more limited, especially for taller riders. Most owners ride it mainly on throttle.
Can I extend the range? Yes. The C5 supports a swappable dual-battery setup, which is useful for long rides or delivery shifts.
