What's the real-world range? Himiway rates up to 40 miles on throttle and 70 miles on pedal assist with the 15Ah battery. Expect less with a heavier rider, hills, fat-tire drag, or higher assist. Adding the optional 20Ah battery extends it significantly.
How fast does it go? It ships at 20 mph and is adjustable up to 28 mph, with selectable Class 1/2/3 settings to match local e-bike laws.
Is it good for bigger or taller riders? Yes. It carries a 400 lb payload, fits riders 5'1" to 6'5", and the full suspension plus fat tires make for a stable, comfortable ride.
What's the difference between the battery options? The base bike uses a 48V 15Ah battery. The 15Ah+20Ah option adds a second battery for much longer range, which is why it's priced higher.
Can it handle trails and off-road? Yes. Full suspension, Maxxis fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes, and switchable torque sensing make it capable on dirt, gravel, sand, and rough terrain.
Is it safety certified? Yes. The bike is UL 2849 certified, with a UL 2271 battery and UL 2580 cells.
