Is the D5 Pro ST less powerful than the standard D5 Pro? No. The ST shares the same motor, battery, and off-road specs. The only differences are the step-thru frame and a lower standover height. Choose based on frame preference.
Why choose the step-thru frame? The low-step design makes mounting and dismounting easy, which helps if you carry cargo, have limited mobility, or just prefer not to swing a leg over a high frame. It also lowers the center of gravity for added control.
What's the real-world range? Up to 80 miles on pedal assist and around 60 on pure electric power with the 960Wh battery. Terrain, load, and assist level affect it.
How capable is it off-road? Very. Full suspension, 4" Kenda fat tires, and mid-drive torque handle mud, snow, sand, and trails.
How fast does it go? Up to 25 mph. It weighs 79 lbs and fits riders 5'3" to 6'5".
