The Renegade uses heavy-duty Renegade Forged suspension trucks and adds binding inserts, making it the more rugged, off-road-focused version of the Diablo. The motors and battery are the same. Choose the Renegade if you ride aggressive off-road terrain or want to use bindings.
Evolve Bindings secure your feet to the board for more control on steep downhill and rough off-road riding, similar to snowboard bindings. They are optional. You can ride without them, or add them later using the built-in inserts. The bindings bundle includes them at purchase.
It is designed for off-road and all-terrain riding on dirt, trails, gravel, and rough ground. The suspension trucks help it absorb impacts that would unsettle a standard board. It is not built for deep mud or large rocks.
Evolve rates it at up to 50 km (31 mi). Aggressive off-road riding, hills, heavier riders, and Fast mode reduce that significantly. Expect a realistic 25 to 40 km in hard off-road use.
It is an advanced, off-road-focused board and not the best starting point for a first-time rider. If you are new, a street or standard all-terrain board is easier to learn on. If you do start here, use Safe or Eco mode and full protective gear.
