Stay Fresh Freeze Dryer Accessories

Silicone Mesh Tray Liners (Mega Trays, 6 Sheets)

Open-weave silicone mesh liners for Mega 10.5 in. x 27.5 in. trays. The open mesh lets heat pass from the tray straight into the food, so batches dry faster than on a solid silicone mat, and finished pieces lift off cleanly instead of bonding to bare stainless. Ideal for fruit slices and other solid pieces. Not suitable for liquids or purees; use parchment paper for those. Food-grade silicone, dishwasher safe, and reusable.

Questions

Mesh or parchment: which do I need?
Mesh suits solid pieces like fruit slices and speeds drying because heat passes straight through. Liquids, purees, and yogurt will run through the mesh; use parchment paper for those.
