SunGoldPower Modular & Expandable Ground Mount Brackets for 2 × 400W–590W Solar Panels
A galvanized steel ground-mount rack that carries two large panels, with tilt adjustable from 20 to 40 degrees. The modular part is what makes it genuinely useful: racks connect together in parallel, so a two-panel starter becomes a four, six or eight-panel array without replacing anything you have already bought.
Ground mounting solves problems a roof cannot. You set the tilt to suit your latitude instead of accepting whatever pitch your roof has, you can face the array due south regardless of how the house sits, cleaning and snow clearing are done from the ground, and panels run cooler with air on both sides. Renewable Outdoors is an authorized SunGoldPower dealer — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll work out how many racks your array needs.

Racks connect in parallel, so a two-panel array grows without replacing the hardware you own.

Reinforced load-bearing construction with a galvanized finish for outdoor life.
Fits 400W to 590W Panels
Sized for the large modern modules, including SunGoldPower's own and most standard panels.
Pre-Drilled, Semi-Assembled
Pre-drilled holes and part-assembled components, which cuts a great deal of time on site.
Cleaning and Snow from the Ground
No ladder, no roof work — a practical advantage that people underestimate until the first snowfall.
What's Included
What You Get
1 × SunGoldPower modular ground mount rack for two panels
Solar panels, ground anchors or concrete footings, and the fixings that tie the rack to your ground are separate — what you need depends entirely on your soil and your local wind and snow loading. SunGoldPower does not publish wind or snow load ratings, dimensions or weight for this rack, and does not publish an itemised parts list. Call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll get what you need confirmed.

SunGoldPower Modular & Expandable Ground Mount Brackets for 2 × 400W–590W Solar Panels: Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a ground mount over a roof mount?
Four practical reasons. You choose the tilt angle rather than accepting your roof's pitch, which can be worth ten percent or more annually. You choose the orientation regardless of how the house sits. Cleaning and snow clearing happen from the ground rather than up a ladder. And panels run cooler with airflow on both sides, which means slightly higher output. The trade-off is that you need the land, and you need to anchor it properly.
How many racks do I need?
One rack per two panels, so divide your panel count by two. Because the racks are modular and connect in parallel, you can also start smaller and add racks as the array grows. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your panel count and we'll confirm the quantity.
Will it fit my panels?
It's designed for panels rated 400W to 590W, which in practice means the large modern module sizes around 1722 to 2278mm long. That covers SunGoldPower's 415W, 440W, 450W, 460W, 500W, 550W, 560W and 590W panels and most equivalents from other brands. If you have something unusual, send us the dimensions and we'll check.
What wind and snow loads is it rated for?
SunGoldPower describes the rack as resistant to high winds and heavy snow but does not publish numerical load ratings, and their installation manual is a scanned document we cannot read reliably. We're not going to quote a figure we can't source. If your site has serious wind or snow exposure — or if a permit requires a load calculation — call us at (303) 876-7654 and we'll get the engineering data from SunGoldPower before you commit.
How do I anchor it to the ground?
That depends entirely on your soil. Concrete footings, ground screws and driven piles are all used, and which is right depends on soil type, frost depth and wind loading. The rack does not include ground anchors because there is no universal answer. This is the part of a ground mount most worth getting professional advice on — an under-anchored array becomes a sail.
Do I need a permit?
Usually yes for a grid-connected array, and sometimes even for an off-grid one, depending on your jurisdiction and the array size. Ground mounts can also be affected by setback rules and, occasionally, by HOA restrictions. Worth checking before you buy panels, not after.
What tilt angle should I set?
As a rule of thumb, a tilt roughly equal to your latitude gives the best year-round output; a shallower angle favours summer and a steeper one favours winter and helps snow slide off. In Colorado, something in the 30 to 40 degree range is typical. Call us and we'll suggest an angle for your location and your priorities.
Is it genuinely expandable later?
Yes — that's the design intent. Racks connect together in parallel, so adding two more panels means adding another rack rather than rebuilding. It's worth planning the row layout at the start so the expansion lands somewhere sensible.
Do you offer financing or price matching?
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing options through Affirm at checkout, and our Lowest Price Guarantee applies — if you find this cheaper at another authorized dealer, call us at (303) 876-7654 before you order and we'll take care of it.
