This is the part that unlocks 240 V bypass charging on the F3800 Plus, at up to 6,000 W. Connect a 240 V generator and it charges the battery while simultaneously passing power through to your loads, which means a generator running a couple of hours a day replaces one running continuously.

Worth knowing that it is not only a generator part despite the name. Anker also lists it for 240 V wall outlet bypass, so if you have a dryer or range receptacle available it becomes a fast-charging path far quicker than the 1,800 W standard AC input. Two limits apply: bypass supports a single F3800 Plus unit only, and it does not scale with a second unit on a Double Power Hub.

• 6,000 W at 240 V: Against 1,800 W on the standard AC input. Anker rates a full generator recharge at roughly 1.5 hours.
• Charge and power at once: Bypass passes generator power through to loads while charging, so you are not choosing between running the house and filling the battery.
• Wall outlet too, not just generators: Anker lists this for 240 V wall outlet bypass as well, which makes a dryer or range receptacle a fast charging path.
• One unit only: Anker is explicit that bypass supports a single F3800 Plus. It does not double with a second unit on a Double Power Hub.
