My EG4 LifePower4 V2 battery arrived quickly and was packaged well with no external or internal damage. What I didn’t know was that this battery was a new model with NO dip switches called V2 model 3. This has caused a delay in adding this battery to my other V2 model 2 and V2 model 1 batteries. It seems I will need to do up to two different firmware updates on my existing batteries before they will be recognized by the new V2 model 3. I also had to change all my cat 5e interconnections to a pin 7 & Pin 8 only cables. To top it all off I had to order a Firmware Adapter to install the new firmware versions. Still waiting for that. The new EG4 Lifepower4 without dip switches functionally works but unable to get closed loop communication working with the older V2 and other V1's in the rack. I've been in contact with EG4 directly but still unable to resolve the issue and they instructed to operate in a custom user mode function making it open loop instead of the lithium closed loop setting which was disappointing.
