The Eco Series has no internal heating and no Bluetooth. Charging requires 32°F or above; discharge is fine to −4°F. A lithium-profile charger and cables are separate — Epoch's 12V 50A charger suits this capacity. Note the case is 15.5 inches across the handles and up to 10.5 inches tall with terminals, so measure your compartment against those figures.

Why is this cheaper than the 300Ah Essential Series when it holds more?
Because you're not paying for Bluetooth, internal heating or the 11-year warranty. The cells and the BMS protections are comparable, and the Eco Series is actually rated for more cycles. If those three features don't matter for where the battery lives, this is straightforwardly better value.
How does the Eco Series differ from Essential, Pro and Elite?
Eco is the entry point. It has no Bluetooth, no internal heating, and a 6-year warranty rather than 11 — but the cells are the same LFP chemistry, the BMS protections are there, and the cycle rating is actually higher than the Essential Series at 4,500+. It's the right buy when the battery lives somewhere warm and dry and you don't need app monitoring. If you need to charge below freezing, or want to see state of charge on your phone, step up to Essential.
What will 4kWh run?
A 12V compressor fridge, lighting, water pump, fans, laptops and charging for a day and a half to two days with no input. Through a 2,000W inverter, roughly 3.2kWh of AC after losses — coffee maker, microwave in bursts, TV, tools. Call us at (303) 876-7654 with your loads and we'll be specific.
Can I charge it below freezing?
No. Charging needs 32°F or above, because there's no heater. Discharge is fine down to −4°F. If the battery lives in an unheated space through a real winter and you need to charge it there, buy a heated model — an unheated lithium battery will simply refuse the charge rather than accept a damaging one.
Will it fit a Group 31 tray?
The base footprint is Group 31, but it's 15.5 inches across the handles and up to 10.5 inches tall with the terminal bolts. Those are the figures to measure against, not the base dimensions — it's the most common fit surprise with batteries this size.
Is 250A of discharge enough for a 3,000W inverter?
A 3,000W inverter draws roughly 250A at 12V at full output, so it's right at the limit with no headroom. For a 3,000W inverter you'd want two of these in parallel, or a 24V/48V architecture. For a 2,000W inverter, a single battery is comfortable.
How many can I put in parallel?
Up to sixteen, though in practice a 12V bank beyond three or four batteries starts to make less sense than moving to 24V or 48V, because the cable sizes get unwieldy. Happy to talk through the architecture with you.
Why lithium iron phosphate rather than lead-acid?
You can use nearly all of the rated capacity rather than half, so an LFP battery does the work of a lead-acid one twice its size. It weighs roughly a third as much for the same usable energy. And it lasts thousands of cycles instead of a few hundred, so cost per useful cycle is far lower despite the higher purchase price.
What charger should I use?
One with a LiFePO4 profile. For a battery this size Epoch's 12V 50A charger is the sensible match — a 15A charger would take over twenty hours from empty. If you're charging from solar or an alternator, the charge controller or DC-DC charger needs a lithium profile too.
Is there any way to monitor it?
Not over Bluetooth on the Eco Series. You'd use a shunt-based battery monitor, or read state of charge from your inverter or charge controller. If phone monitoring matters, the Essential Series 300Ah adds it.
