Launched to support climate initiatives, Denver's e-bike rebate program offers financial incentives for the purchase of electric bikes. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote eco-friendly transportation alternatives.
Eligibility and Rebate Details
Residents of Denver over the age of 16 are eligible. The program offers a $300 rebate for standard e-bikes and an additional $200 for e-cargo bikes. Income-qualified residents can receive up to a $1,200 rebate, with adaptive e-bike rebates also available.
E-Bike Specifications
Eligible e-bikes include Class I, II, and III road, hybrid, and cargo e-bikes. Full-suspension mountain e-bikes are not eligible. The motor must be 750 watts or less and electrically powered.
Application Process
Residents must apply for a voucher via the Denver Rebate portal. Upon receipt, the voucher must be redeemed at an approved participating bike shop in Denver within 60 days.
